Oh What to Do! and Giveaway

Hello everyone, and happy Superbowl Sunday!

It's a perfectly beautiful day here in the Bay area... 74 degrees, bright beautiful sunshine, and these are blooming and growing: yes, that's a lemon, and beautiful camelias all along the fence!

It's a good day for a walk, or..........as George suggests, a nap

But - I have a small problem: My bookshelf is too full of quilting books!

(and that's only one shelf of one bookshelf!)
So - these three books need a new home... so I will be giving one away every Sunday for the next three weeks - chosen randomly from the comments left below... (sorry, no international shipping, just too costly). These are great books, I just have too many and need to clean out so I can BUY SOME MORE! So leave a message, and let's find them a new home....

Hope everyone is having a great Sunday...
Kate

The super bowl is less than super right now... making me wish I had some new quilting books to look though while my hands take a rest from hexagons. If luck is on my side, perhaps one of yours will brave the cold to come live in Indiana! I love seeing pictures of sunny days.. sometimes we forget what they look like here. Thanks!

Oh this would be fun to win, I don't have many quilting books, and am kinda just getting into quilting.

I have been reading your blog for a while. I had to chuckle on your last post about your closet of tops to be sandwiched...I have such and urge to just assemble a bunch of tops...but alas I will not let myself go on to the next until I have finished the first!

This is my first visit to your blog and I have to say I smiled through the whole thing. You have such a wonderful sense of humor. Thanks so much for sharing it with us.

What a nice thing to do sharing your extra books with others. I don't have any of those books and would love any of them. The one with the cardinal reminds me of my Grandma Gertie. When the cardinals sing it always sounded like they were saying Gerite, Gertie so we call them Gertie birds. They are my favorite.

I'll leave a comment, but I really need another book like I need a hole in the head. So if you do a random selection thing and i'm the post number, I'd suggest you give my book to Nicole above. She says she only has 3 books. She needs a library too.

I, too, have left the eggs on to boil for too, too long. Once it was when we actually raised chickens and it was funny to see them eagerly eating the over-boiled eggs.

Pick me!

How incredibly kind of you - I find it sooooooooooooooo very difficult to part with my books, guess that's why I, I mean my shelves, sag so much.........
