Endless Binding

Hello everyone!!!!

Yes, it's the endless binding... I don't really know how many yards of binding this is, but it's more than five yards of fabric, all cut to 2.5 inches, folded in half, and neatly pressed.

And, yes, it all fits in that box - although I will have to have DH hold it shut while I tape it up, as the binding keeps trying to jump out..

I'm sending the binding to Australia, to Jan MacFadyen...
If you don't know Jan, jump over to her blog, http://sewmanyquiltstoolittletime.blogspot.com
Jan is one of those amazing quilters who puts together amazing quantities of donation quilts for people who have been in fires or floods, or have some other pressing need. Yes, she has help from others who donate, but I think she secretly has elves who live in her basement and assemble quilts...
She has been collecting and distributing quilts for those in the Australian floods - and I wanted to help, but it's just impractical to mail quilts that far...
So, instead, Jan, here's an (almost) endless supply of binding for you...
Happy Quilting,
Kate

what a great idea. All that binding will be a great help and every little bit helps!

Fabulous! I'm sure even that huge amount of binding will be used up fast since Jan whips up so many string quilts ... she's a wonder and you are, too, to think of doing this! What a blessing you are for her and the many quilt recipients.
