Things Finished....

Hi all - just a quick post - life seems to be going by awfully fast lately !

I finished up my Hands2Help quilts with these two "masculine"  cuties...

then completed a blue/yellow heartstrings, also for charity

And to I went to my first-ever quilting retreat !  Sewed my brains out for three days - what great fun !

Pretty soon, I'll have some more photos from work accomplished at the retreat - just you wait and see!

Now it's unpack, do laundry, and rest up a little before work tomorrow - ugh !

Progress, Progress, Progress

Good Friday night to everyone...............

I have not been an active blogger lately - one reason is because I have been busy at work.   But, truth be told...............

I just have so many BIG projects, and they are moving VERY SLOWLY................

But they ARE moving..............................

So, here's some PROGRESS TO REPORT.... (doing the happy dance)

One more row to add on the bottom.........................

Of that row, four are appliqued - I have two more to go..............

I'll show you again when I get the bottom row on..................

AND THEN I'LL THINK ABOUT THE BORDERS - -

Don't you love this pattern?  It's by Sue Garman, called "Sarah's Revival"...and it's soo much fun to applique................

Oh It's A Happy Friday

I just put the last stitches on my Hands2Help quilts  - -

Have you been watching this initiative ?  If not, go HERE   to learn more.    It's an annual initiative by Sarah, at her blog "Confessions of a Fabric Addict"...  She organizes quilt donations to several different charities each year.

I'm signed up for two, and I'm tickled that they are completed BEFORE the deadline !

I'll be packing these up to go to Emily at Happy Chemo !

Oh these have been fun... glad to get them finished, though... Finishes are always nice.


Let's see - what else can I sew on ??  Surely there must be some fabric around somewhere.................:)
