hi everyone: we have been playing 'tourist' the past few days.... here are some highlights. First, the iconic Golden Gate Bridge:

And the next one might not be on everyone's list, but it is taken in Gilroy, CA, the home of the fabulous "Garlic Festival"

I spent much time in San Francisco. It was pretty in it's own way, but I didnt like it much. The only grass to be found was at Golden gate park and the city was so full of homeless it was sad. It was always so foggy and drippy and cold.
On the other hand there were many neat places there. I have never been anywhere in California but San Francisco, but I used to know it like the back of my hand.
